• You can reach the Heuriger Mayer am Pfarrplatz by public transportation. From the conference venue you take best the metro U4 from Karlsplatz to Heiligenstadt and the bus 38A (direction Wien Wagenwiese) to Fernsprechamt Heiligenstadt. From there its a 3 minute walk.
• In addition to the metro, tram lines 1, 71 und D will take you to Schottentor, where you can take the tram 37 to Hohe Warte. You will reach Mayer am Pfarrplatz by walking in 9 minutes.

The tradition-steeped “Mayer am Pfarrplatz” winery, the epitome of Viennese Heuriger culture, has been producing the best Viennese wines since 1683 in Heiligenstadt. In 1817, Ludwig van Beethoven lived in the romantic listed suburban home on Pfarrplatz. During his time in Heiligenstadt he worked on his greatest creation: Symphony No. 9
